 In
2003, we bought property with over 2000 Fuji
trees that produced approximately 100,000 lbs
of apples a year. We have been taking out the
apple orchard to put in pasture for our mares.
We are located in Eastern Washington
within a few miles of the mighty Columbia River.
This area of Washington receives very little
rainfall, only 7 to 8 inches a year. Our property
is fully irrigated from March through October
with Summer temperatures reaching into the 100s.
Hay and alfalfa production is available locally
for the horses. The Tri-Cities is centrally
located; approximately 45 minutes from Walla
Walla, 2 hours from Spokane, and 3 hours from
Seattle and Portland.
We are very excited about our
new 44’x60’ barn. The
barn has six box stalls and one birthing stall
with automatic lights, exam area with stock,
tack room, and feed room. The center isle is
20’ wide so that there is plenty of space
to work with the horses.
